Mike Greenberg's Home...and Other Sports Links

One of my co-workers lives down the street from Mike "Greeny" Greenberg (from "Mike and Mike in the Morning"). Here's an aerial view of his house in Westport, CT. Not too shabby. And wondering what's in the ground in the back (if his place was a baseball diamond, that's the octagon that's at home plate)? That's a built in trampoline. 7 bedrooms in all. The estimate at Zillow.com is $2.45 million. Not too shabby...
-ESPN.com says that the inauguration impressed the sports world. Kevin Johnson did not want to be included on that list, it seems (H/T Deadspin).
-The Yankees believe in charity, it seems. Let's just go hang outside the new stadium and see if they'll give us money. Rob Neyer says they need a viable backup catcher--which I 100% agree with. If Posada is not ready, you CANNOT go with Jose Molina full time. He's a great backup. Keep him as such. And they may as Ken Rosenthal says they're not even close to being done (and suggests they sign Ben Sheets and Juan Cruz)
-Kirk Radomski is supposedly going to name new names...extending this steroid witch-hunt awfulness even longer. Hopefully he names some Red Sox this time, now that Red Sox employee, George Mitchell, isn't controlling the report.
-Speaking of steroids, this is sort of funny.
-The New York Times Freakonomics blog (which I'm following on Twitter) asks if Atheists should target the NFL next?
That's it for now...a full post dedicated to hockey will come later...
