Friday Lunchtime Links

I'll do it in a couple of installments because it's been building up over the past few days...

-A very, very well written article on Bud Selig and the questions on accountability and punishment and how that all relates to Human Resources
-This story about the Twitter HR Manager just keeps on getting more interesting...
-A very sad story as Real Sports returned this week on HBO (H/T Ben)
-A MannyBeingManny sighting!
-I think I may pick up this book. I love fun Yankee knowledge like this.
-So I guess that whole security concern that Dubai went away? Want a bunch of bullshit. The WTA should never do a tour their again and if they do, they're cowards. That's my honest opinion.
-A really nice story on ESPN.com about sportsmanship in high school basketball
-And a really not nice story on SPORTSbyBROOKS about a high school basketball brawl
-Back to a really nice story on ESPN.com about a college basketball player
-"Fire Renney" chants get dissected here
-Brian Giles has some serious issues. Maybe 'roid rage??? His brother was a suspected user...isn't tat far of a jump to make
-It's a good thing there's no cheating in football...
-Speaking of which, Ahmad Bradshaw is back in jail
-It seems Alan Greenspan likes that whole bank nationalization idea. Maybe if he would have worked a little harder when he had a job, he wouldn't be making recommendations like this...but I digress...
-Reporters have jumped ship to work in the Obama White House
-A merger of labor unions?
-Freakonomics on the electric gap
-A "25 Random Things About Me" thingy from ShysterBall (may have seen a few of these on Facebook)
-Lastly (for now...more later), I haven't see it yet, but the title intrigues me - Dinosaurs Fucking Robots
