View From The Seats

So it took 15 minutes from Grand Central to New Yankee Stadium (NYS). The picture is of the tunnel taking you from the tracks to the Stadium. It's about a 10 minute walk. It started out cold and nasty, but the sun has been peaking out between the clouds and it's a comfortable 60-65.

And the Yankees have had some sun through the clouds as well. Damon started out the Yankees attack with a leadoff homerun, but Wang gave it back and A-Rod had some bad at-bats with runners in scoring position.

But the Yankees scored 5 in the 5th behind some big walks and a big, bases loaded clearing double from Mark Teixeira (making up for a horrendous baserunning play in the first inning to kill a rally). Melky has so far ended 3 innings which is pretty amazing. And they've all been bad ABs.

But just as soon as NYS was back in it, Kinsler got a game-tying homer off of Aceves. Going to the bottom of the 6th, tied at 6.
