A Few Non-Baseball Stories

It's raining outside and I'm a little baseball-ed out so how about a few non-baseball articles?
-The New York Rangers are raising their season-ticket prices according to the great Steve Zipay of Newsday (H/T Jay). I guess they saw how well that worked out for the Yankees and are following suit. Seriously guys? The Blue Seats will cost $37 a game for season-ticket subscribers so that probably means at least $40 for us that buy for individual games. Ouch.
-One thing the Rangers won't be doing, according to Newsday, is finishing the Madison Square Garden renovations on time. So I guess the extra money they're charging won't go towards that.
-Speaking of stadiums, word from Sustainable Business that the new Giants Stadium in the Meadowlands is going to be a Green Stadium. I guess that'll qualify New Jersey for continuing to be called the Garden State despite all the swamplands, smell, and landfills.
-Lastly, Giants big DT Fred Robbins didn't just have arthroscopic surgery on his knee, but, according to The Blue Screen, microfracture surgery, a slightly more serious surgery. I think the Giants were cautious with this when they signed Rocky Bernard and Chris Canty, especially knowing what happens to athletes like Jason Sehorn, Penny Hardaway, and Allan Houston after this type of surgery.
