A-Rod Not So Fatigued

While Albert Pujols was calling his shot, Alex Rodriguez was hanging out at his favorite Miami hot spot with Kate Hudson. The Palm Beach Post (via Newsday) reported on Sunday that "A-Rod and K-Hud" were partying until 2:30 a.m. on Saturday morning in Miami Beach and left together in the back seat of a chauffeured Maybach. This wouldn't be so much of a problem except for the fact that A-Rod was sitting out two games for the New York Yankees because he was supposedly "fatigued". I guess he was feeling better? Or maybe being with Kate Hudson made him feel less fatigued (picture above via Newsday)? I usually am of the belief that A-Rod tries to hard and needs to relax a little...but I meant on the playing field.

A-Rod returned to the Yankees lineup last night and was 1-4 with 2 RBIs and 2 Ks (including one K to begin the 9th inning). A-Rod's at-bat may not count in the 9th inning if the Yankees protest is upheld and they are given a do-over as Tyler Kepner writes for the New York Times. But it really should be A-Rod who is seeking a do-over after getting caught out on Saturday night.
