According to ESPN.com, former longtime Detroit Tigers broadcaster Ernie Harwell has terminal cancer.
For those of us who savor the voices of old-time baseball broadcasters, this will be an incredible loss. I only hope that we get to hear Harwell's booming voice broadcast at least one more game in his lifetime.
