Sometimes the Yankees Have No Class

The Yankees do a lot of things on the field that exude class. All their players are cleanly shaven on their face and their head. They don't wear names on the back of the jerseys because the Yankees have never had names on the back of their jerseys. They honor former ballplayers in an almost religious way. So on the outside they seem to have class.
Yet sometimes they just act like classless morons. And I thought it would end when The Boss, George Steinbrenner, left the control of the team with his sons. George would make many classless moves like hiring a private investigator to dig up dirt on Dave Winfield or feuding with Yogi Berra, keeping the great Yankee ambassador away from Yankee Stadium for 14 seasons. But it ends up that a move to the new stadium and a new ownership structure haven't changed the Yankees ways behind the scenes. I thought it was bad enough, as New Stadium Insider pointed out, that the Yankees offered free tickets to Staten Island Yankees season ticket holders, only to have those tickets end up being the obstructed view bleacher seats. But they may have topped it today according to Peter Abraham: "Meanwhile, remember those West Point Cadets who unfurled the flag before the game? They got obstructed view seats in the bleachers. How to honor the troops."
I love the Yankees, but that just isn't right.
