Nomar signed a one-day minor league contract to retire as part of the Red Sox, to join ESPN as a Baseball analyst.
As a Sox Fan, I'm happy to see one of the players who helped build the foundation for the team's success in the past decade retire as a Red Sox (Sock?) even if he left Boston on shaky terms.

ReplyDeleteAndrew, whether you believe they suck or not, the fact here is clear: Nomar chose to retire as a member of Red Sox nation. The franchise/team clearly does not suck if he wants to go down in the history books as a member of this great team. And as a Sox fan, I am glad to have him! Welcome home, Nomah!
