Thought of the morning: remember how the Yankees were going to have trouble against the Twins because they were "fundamentally sound"? Remember then how the Yankees were going to have more trouble against the Angels because they were supposed to be "more fundamentally sound" and "aggressive on the basepaths"?
I think we finally have debunked "fundamentally sound" and "aggressive on the basepaths" as ridiculous baseball terms, unless by those you mean making baserunnning errors and mental mistakes, because the Twins and Angels sure did make a lot of those.
