Mets win! Mets win!
The New York Mets finally got one in the win column, winning today 1-0 behind Mike Pelfry. The last time they had a 1-0 win started by a guy other than Johan Santana was June 23, 2007 when Livan Hernandez' brother, El Duque, beat the Oakland Athletics.
That was before the Mets knew about September collapses.
Amazingly, the Yankees are yet to record a 1-0 win this season.
