Screw You, Carl Pavano

A quick break from football for this...

From MLB.com (H/T to MLB Trade Rumors and Pete Abraham) "When you're down, you expect your organization to pick you up, not kick you when you're down. I've had to pick myself up quite a few times the last four years."

Are you freaking serious? What are you smoking? When, exactly, did you pick yourself back up? When you fell on your butt and had to go on the DL because of a bruised buttocks? You did nothing to rehab yourself and just picked up the checks of the $40 million the Yankees gave you. They wanted to move you off the roster so they could keep someone else on the 40-man (probably a minor leaguer who needed a spot to stay on the team) and you declined so that you could vest your pension or some B.S. like that. And we let you. And we even let you audition at the end of last season for a job for 2009. And this is the thanks the Yankees get for it? You stole money from the Yankees for four years. You, sir, are the Bernard Madoff of Major League Baseball. You dirty, rotten, scumbag.
