Live Blogging: Titans vs. Ravens

Update (7:35): Wow...clutch job by Flacco (on 3rd down) and Stover. Tennessee has handed this game over, let's see if they can take it back.

Update
(7:26): How was that not a delay of game? That was about 2 seconds at zero...wow

Update
(7:12): Flacco went out of bounds....where was the safety? Why aren't they challenging?

Update
(6:53): Sloppy game, sloppy play, lots of injuries...btw, just came across this letter:

Dear Titans,

Thanks for handing us the game.

-Ravens

Update
(6:43): Still think that bending of Chris Johnson wasn't a personal foul? Wow...100 total yards are sitting on the sidelines and killing the Titans. Could be the Football Gods angry about all the miscues and missed opportunities. LeDale White is just not doing anything for them.

Update
(6:33): Again Flacco takes a 3rd and long TO. Too many penalties for both teams. Still no Chris Johnson...bad news for the Titans.

Update
(6:29): Again, no score. Titans are giving away this game. Finnegan almost got that one...wow. Flacco has a great arm.

Update
(6:19): The longer this one stays tied, the more the advantage swings to the Ravens. I think that the Titans need to strike on this drive. They have great field position and have been in this situation twice now without a score. Collins needs to play mistake-free football and the Titans need to stop taking penalties.

Update
(halftime show): Can anyone understand anything that Shannon Sharpe says? Has anyone seen his baseball? Do we need him? Can we also get rid of one of Boomer/Marino and send them to help out this crew? Can they be down on the field like Goose?

Update
(halftime): Baltimore has got to be excited going in with a tie game. Titans had two great drives but failed to put a single point on the board because of two turnovers. 7-7 at the half. The advantage has to swing with the Ravens.

Update
(5:55 PM): Maybe Johnson is hurt. White in there, looking OK and then the hit from behind and fffffummmmmbllllleeee. Told you there would be turnovers...

Update
(5:51 PM): And Collins threw an INT right after I said that nullifying a great drive. Do the Titans not remember success with running it with Chris Johnson? I know Collins is passing well, but why take the chance? Mix it in with some runs. The Titans need to go into the locker room with a lead

Update
(5:38 PM): I still don't understand why more QBs just don't chuck the ball out of bounds? If you're outside the tackle box, you really need to and avoid the sack/fumble/INT. Collins should have just thrown that ball 30 feet over the WR out of bounds there. Why don't more QBs just do this when they're under pressure? Seems like a no-brainer to me...

Update
(5:32 PM): WHAT? Personal foul on the Titans? What about the Ravens? How the heck can you make that call. Awful. Whole apt. is up in arms.

Chris Johnson looks angry

Update
(5:18 PM): So 4th and 8 and they do for it...and ffffffummmmmblllleeee. Kerry Collins may be betting on the game again.

Meahwhile...Meth lab at a funeral home

Update
(5:12 PM): Yeah...how about that Chris Johnson? Ari echoes my feelings: "didn't know this would be a slugfest"

Update
(5:08 PM): or they can take an odd offsides and give him 3rd and 13...and he's throw a TD...wow...what a throw (7-7)

Update
(5:05 PM): you think that crowd isn't riling up the rookie QB and the Ravens team. McClain drops a pass, holding penalty, Flacco forces them to call a time out on 3rd and 18. In a close game like this, you can't use a time out like that. Does "Joe Cool" think that he's going to get 18 yards on this Titans defense? Also, lots of chippiness so far. Forgot about all those fines coming from the first matchup...let's see if it continues

Pregame-first TD: I got started a little late (due to discovering our love of buzz TV):

But so far my predictions have come true: bad weather, tough hits, Chris Johnson is the best RB on the field so far. 7-0 Titans and the crowd is certainly into it.
