How Good Is Halladay Vs. The Yankees?

From Buster Olney (via the Elias Sports Bureau):

"[Roy Halladay] is now fourth all time on the list of pitchers the Yanks lose games to on the road...Halladay's last 10 starts at the Rogers Centre versus New York have been won by the Jays....[and Halladay] is second only to Babe Ruth in his all time winning percentage against the Yankees, at .762, or 16-5 all time. The Babe was 17-5 against New York."

Wow. That is dominance of truly historical proportions. By comparison, the pitcher I most considered the Yankee killer of the past decade was Chuck Finley. The Cleveland Indians once acquired him just to beat the Yankees and you wonder if a team will try the same thing with Halladay at this trade deadline (I'm sure the Yankees are praying he gets traded to the NL). His record against New York? 17-10 (.630 winning %), 3.82 ERA, .711 OPS against. That's not even in the same ballpark as Halladay (16-5, 2.79 ERA and .640 OPS against). Wow.
