Considering the names and quality of writers they have, I wouldn't be too worried if I were one of the other NY sports news outlets.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you, Ben--my comment was sort of tongue-in-cheek. I've read a few places lately how this spells doom for the major New York outlets. But unlike other cities, I don't see it being the case in New York. Major outlets still reign supreme. But I'll bookmark ESPN New York and visit there as well to see what they provide.
ReplyDeleteElissa just made an interesting comparison. She thinks the font, color, and style of the words "New York" on the new ESPN website look just like the New York Post banner. Personally, I think it looks pretty similar, except that the letters aren't slanted quite as sharply. Just wondering if anyone else noticed this?
