Maybe Joba Was Just Missing His Fist Pump

There was no fist pump and Joba pitched poorly.
The fist pump returned yesterday and he pitched well.
Coincidence?
I think not
When you ask someone to pitch without passion on the mound, you get efforts that lack passion.
Both Phil Hughes and Joba Chamberlain are pitching well in their roles. Why? According go to the Great Mariano Rivera: "Good things happen when you throw a lot of strikes"
Hopefully that means a lot of wins for the Yankees for years to come.
And if it means a lot more fist pumps and 95+ MPH fastballs, I'm 100% OK with that.
