Lastly before I leave for the game, I can't believe someone beat me to this, but VoteSwisher.com is up and running (H/T Past A Diving Jeter). Nick Swisher was left off the All Star Ballot and needs to be written in. Vote for Nick!

 

In a related note, forgot to post this thought from Steven Goldman of Pinstriped Bible:

I'm not going to get up to the Stadium again until next week, but I really want to ask Joe Girardi this: "What are you seeing from Nick Swisher now that you did not see during Spring Training, the absent thing that caused you to call Xavier Nady a starter? Have you considered that if Nady was still healthy you might have left all this production sitting in the freezer?"
That sounds critical, but it's not meant that way -- well, mostly not. I'd really like to know.

 

Me too, Steve. Me too. This guy could be an All Star and I was advocating for him starting for a while (here and here especially). Let's hope he continues to be extra Swishy and Swish his way to the All Star game.
