Reminder: Teams Schools Fundraiser

Wanted to again forward the below request to remind you once again, if you're interested, how to join. It really is a great cause. You can find out more about the TEAM charter schools here. And, if you're not interested in running, please think about donating towards me running. You can go here to donate. After you donate, please e-mail your donation receipt with "Andrew Katz" in the subject line to Kathleen at knugent@teamschools.org so that they can track donations. I can't guarantee that I'll be a speed demon in there, but I'll at least guarantee a light jog. Thanks!

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to remind you all to register online for the TEAM charter schools fundraiser! It will be a 4-mile race in Central park on April 5th, piggybacking the City parks foundation Run for the Parks event.  Basically what this means is that your registration fee ($35 if you are NOT a member of New York Road Runners Club) will go to support NYC parks, and we will do additional fundraising for TEAM schools. We chose this race because it includes kids races, where some of the students will be participating.

In addition to this, we are requesting that people who are running for our cause, TEAM charter schools, raise a minimum of $100 through the TEAM website (http://www.teamschools.org/donate). We will be choosing a restaurant for everyone to meet and enjoy breakfast together after the run :)

We are hoping that with the success of this event, this will become a fun, annual fundraiser for TEAM charter schools!
