Trivia Wednesday

Since Tuesday's question was way too difficult, I'm posting a new set of questions that are still in the spirit of Monday night's win.

The Yankees had fifteen regular season walk-off wins in 2009, fourteen of which came on hits.

1-Who led the Yankees in walk-off hits in 2009?
2-Name all fourteen walk-off hits from 2009, citing who had each hit and which team each one was against. Bonus if you can name each pitcher who surrendered each hit.

  1. 1 - Melky had 4 didnt he?

    2 - Not a clue.

  2. I just looked into the answer and see that I was right, but my number was wrong. Clever how you worded that.

  3. I'll name a few: A-Rod off of K-Rod ("he dropped the ball!"), Swisher against the Rays, Posada off of Fuentes, Melky against a few teams (Minnesota, Oakland and ?), A-Rod off of the Japanese guy from the the Red Sox, Damon against the Twins, Matsui had one (I think against the Twins), I believe Juan Miranda had one against the Royals (?), and Cano had at least one (I think two). How did I do?

How did I do?

    (just remembered Cervelli as well)
