Just saw this in the latest Yankees e-mail, but figured I'd forward along. Metro-North is running special service this weekend for the Yankees homestand against the Red Sox. The nice part about this seems to be a lot more direct trains to the New Yankee Stadium. The walk is a really quick 10 minute one from the Yankees-East 153rd Street Station and it sure beats trying to park or crowd yourself onto a packed, sweaty subway car. I would highly recommend it, especially with so many people traveling to the Bronx this weekend.
I criticized the Yankees and Metro-North quite a bit for MTA's botching of this train earlier in the season but they've been making great strides to make it better.
