Bonus question: 3 players all-time have 20 or more seasons of double digit wins. Can you name them?

Mike Mussina, Greg Maddux, and Jamie Moyer?
ReplyDeleteMike Mussina (1992-2008) and Greg Maddux (1988-2007) were the last two to accomplish the feat (although, as you can tell, they went well beyond it). But Moyer was not the third. Keep guessing!
ReplyDeleteRoger Clemens, Tom Glavine, Greg Maddux
ReplyDeleteGreg Maddux for bonus also
Paul got the last one: Roger Clemens (1995-2005).
ReplyDeleteGreg Maddux (20) was one of the answers for the bonus. Two more!
Phil Niekro and Cy Young
ReplyDeletePhil Niekro and Cy Young both had 19 seasons of double digit wins so they just missed out. Still two more!

ReplyDeleteVida Blue?
ReplyDeleteNolan Ryan for sure
ReplyDeleteNolan Ryan (20 seasons) is correct but Vida Blue (only 11 seasons) is not
ReplyDeleteOne more!
Hint: He played for the Dodgers in the 70s
Sandy Koufax
ReplyDeleteWrong decade (60s) and Koufax only had 7 seasons of double digit wins.
