The month of May was a remarkable month in the history of baseball. Two perfect games were pitched only weeks apart.
Here's today's trivia question: When was the last time that two individual pitchers pitched no hitters in the same month and name the teams that they were with? Bonus if you can name the opponent.

I'm pretty sure last year Jonathan Sanchez (Giants) and Mark Buehrle (White Sox) pitched them in the same month.
ReplyDeleteAgainst...hmmm. Well Buehrle was against Tampa and Sanchez was against the Braves? (really not sure on that last one)
Sorry, I meant to include last year's "two in one month" pitchers as well and ask for the last time two individuals completed no-hitters prior to last year. But you are correct with everything except for Sanchez' opponent.
