View from the Seats: Rangers vs. Bruins

Happy New Year everyone. I'm at the Ranger game tonight with the Broadway Blueshirts leading the Boston Bruins 2-0 almost at the midway point of the third. A good game by the Rangers except for some missed defensive assignments and a horrible job on odd-man rushes on offense.

The Bruins look tired after playing in the Winter Classic a few days ago and the Rangers look like they need more scorers without Prospal.

Good start for the Blueshirts and let's hope they can bring it home against an Original 6 foe. Oh, and Potvin Sucks!

  1. I hope you had fun watching your 3rd-place Rangers. Try crossing the Hudson sometime, you might enjoy seeing the 1st-place Devils increase their lead over the rest of the Eastern Conference, despite playing fewer games than any other team in the East.

P.S. Before you get all jealous and mad, remember to check out Deadspin's recent post about when Scott Stevens knocked Eric Lindros out cold during the 2000 EC Finals. There's no need to thank Captain Scotty or the rest of New Jersey for ending any chance of Lindros resurrecting his once-promising career. He was just doing his bone-rattling job.
